Test Post: A Day in My Life (10/27)
Hey friends!
I am so excited to share about my day yesterday! One of my best friends from home is visiting for the weekend, so I got to spend time with her and watch an NC State wolfpack win!
I woke up around 5:45 so that I could go pick up my friend Kelly from the airport. It was super early but not too bad getting up because I was excited to see her. Once we got back home, she got all settled in and I made us some French toast for breakfast. I then let her get some rest while I went to my classes for the day. At 8:30. I had my Chem E class called Intro to Chemical Engineering Analysis. It is one of my favorite classes right now because I think it is so satisfying when you finally solve the problems. We do a lot of coding and work in Excel which is really cool to learn about. Yesterday we got out of class a little bit early which was super nice because I had time to finish up an organic chem assignment before I had to go to my next class. My next class was biology, and I spent most of the time just working on my lab report. After biology, I walked back home for lunch and ran into some friends I hadn’t talked to in a while on my way which was fun because I haven’t talked to them in a while. For lunch, I made some veggie fried rice. I love to cook but often times do not have the time or energy, so it was nice to be able to do that yesterday and meal prep for the next few days. After lunch, we ran some quick errands an then got ready for the football game. My friend Jackson had a tailgate so we went and hung out with him and his friends for a while. We then walked around a little just to see everyone decked out in their red and white!
We headed back to campus because we sadly did not have tickets to the game, but we got to watch the tail end of the game on TV after dinner. We went to dinner at Coco Bongo, which is one of my favorite restaurants at NC State. After dinner and the game, we got ready for bed after our long and eventful day.
I am so excited for the Halloween weekend and cannot wait to tell y’all about it!
